This 10-week course of 1-hour weekly classes is designed to help youth reach cessation with all tobacco-related habits involving cigarettes, chew, and smokeless tobacco products.  In addition to educating youth about the risks of smoking or ingesting nicotine, the course includes life-skills management that can help reduce stress and increase health.  Approved by the American Lung Association, the course helps students to learn about addictive behaviors, to gain control over making decisions, and to quit smoking by week five, the mid-point of the course.

 Do you want to quit?

BCRJP helps by receiving referrals from schools, police departments, or municipal courts, and coordinates the opportunity for youth to attend this class.  Who can attend? – 6th through 12th graders.  There is no fee for this class.

The course is also available to participants who are self-referred or family-referred.
